Stone Edge Processing

At Žybartuva, we apply all the most advanced stone processing methods—from cutting and drilling to polishing and engraving—ensuring the highest quality at every stage.

Linear Polishing

Linear stone edge polishing is performed using modern Comandulli (Italy) machines, ensuring exceptional precision and a smooth surface. We can polish edges up to 400 mm thick, making this method suitable for both massive granite stairs and smaller interior elements. Stone processed in this way gains an elegant appearance and long-lasting quality, appreciated in both individual client projects and architectural designs.

Shaped Polishing

During shaped polishing, we use advanced machines that allow precise shaping of various bevels, roundings, or decorative edges. Computer modeling enables achieving ideal symmetry and precision even in the most complex forms. This method is often applied in the production of monuments, covering graves with granite slabs, and unique interior solutions where impeccable aesthetics are required.

Sandblasting, Flaming, Bush Hammering

Edge processing with sand, fire, or bush hammering gives the stone a distinctive uniqueness and naturalness. Such edges are particularly suitable for exterior solutions—stairs, squares, or facades—where a non-slip, safe surface is required. “Žybartuva” performs these tasks both automatically and manually, offering precisely processed details according to individual orders.

Splitting

Split stone edges highlight the true beauty of natural stone, shaped by nature over centuries. This processing is most often chosen for creating grave monuments, granite slabs, or decorative stone products, where an authentic, natural appearance is important. Split edges give the product a distinctive character, appreciated both in Lithuania and the Scandinavian market.
