Bohus Grey granite
Subtle luxury and durability
Bohus Grey is a gray-toned granite quarried in Norway near the Swedish border, in the Iddefjorden fjord, but often considered Swedish due to local geological conditions. This stone features a uniform, fine-grained structure without strong contrasts, making it ideal for large surfaces without visible seams. Due to its premium quality, it is widely used in monuments, wall and facade panels, architectural projects, and art objects. Bohus Grey has very low water absorption (~0.2 %) and high compressive strength, meeting the strictest technical requirements. Its wide processing possibilities – it can be polished, honed (matte finish), aged, flamed, bush-hammered – allow any project to combine functionality and aesthetics.
Color
Bohus Grey stands out with a harmoniously balanced gray shade, enlivened by fine silver inclusions. The surface appears understated yet luxurious and elegant – in light, it gains a subtle, muted sheen. This color perfectly complements both modern and historical interiors.
