Stairs

Stairs in the interior are more than just a transition between floors. They can become the main architectural highlight, emphasizing the style, character, and luxury of the space. Stone stairs remain stable, safe, and aesthetically pleasing even after many years.

Stairs, steps

Interior stairs made of natural stone are a solution that combines aesthetics, durability, and safety. Granite, due to its strength, wear resistance, and elegant appearance, is one of the most suitable materials for indoor stairs and steps. A properly processed surface (we always carefully advise on the most suitable processing method for each project) ensures comfort while also providing a safe, non-slip stair surface. We import a large assortment of natural stone from around the world, so the variety of stone colors and patterns allows the stairs to be adapted to both modern and classic interiors. This is not only a functional solution but also a long-term value for the entire building. Stairs can become the center of the space and simultaneously a symbol of its longevity.

Stairs and steps made of natural stone can be adapted to various spaces

  • In private homes (indoor staircases, outdoor entrances, terraces);
  • In hotels, restaurant and spa interiors;
  • In administrative and business centers;
  • In public spaces – libraries, concert halls, municipal buildings;
  • In historical sites – manors, museums, churches;
  • In educational and cultural institutions.

We work with professionals, realizing visions

Žybartuva has actively collaborated with architects, interior designers, and furniture manufacturers for many years, implementing both historical and private or representative projects throughout Lithuania. We invite you to visit our factory in Baltoji Vokė – here you can view granite blocks, slabs, or samples of already manufactured steps. If you are still looking for the right material, we will help you choose, and if you already know exactly what you need, we await your project and will gladly contribute to its implementation.

Stair maintenance

Granite stairs require minimal but regular maintenance to maintain their beauty and safety. It is important to use soft cloths or brushes to avoid damaging the surface. It is advisable to wash the stairs with lukewarm water and a neutral pH cleaner, avoiding acidic or abrasive products.

For polished surfaces, special stone gloss maintenance products can be used. For burned or brushed surfaces, it is sufficient to wash and periodically remove accumulated dirt. It is recommended to periodically impregnate the stone to make it more resistant to moisture and stains. This will ensure that the stairs not only look great but also remain safe to use for a long time.
