LOKACIJA

Vieta: Vilnius

The Church of St. Peter and St. Paul is one of the most impressive Baroque churches not only in Lithuania but also in all of Eastern Europe. Located in the Antakalnis district of the capital, the church is renowned not only for its stunning sculptural interior but also for its deep historical and spiritual significance. The project’s goal is to restore the authenticity of the presbytery area’s flooring and steps, preserving architectural continuity and historical harmony with the entire church ensemble.

“Žybartuva” managed all stages of the work—from selecting the most suitable stone, supplying materials, manufacturing to professional installation. To restore historical authenticity, the same Swedish Gillberga Gray G2 and Horns Udde Red B1 limestone was used, maintaining the original rhythm of the floor steps, color palette, and stone texture.

“Žybartuva” also participated in restoring the Chapel of the Lord Jesus near the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul.

“Žybartuva” supplied, manufactured, and installed limestone floors, steps, and step finishes. Technical project specifications:
