The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Franciscan) in Vilnius is one of the oldest and most historically significant churches in Vilnius and Lithuania. During the restoration of this site, special attention was given to the quality of natural stone, heritage preservation requirements, and maintaining architectural harmony.

Žybartuva was responsible not only for the selection, production, and supply of natural stone but also performed professional installation work, ensuring a smooth implementation of the entire process.

The authentic historical pavement was renewed using historical natural Swedish limestone—a stone with a polished matte surface that visually complements the historical interior and reflects subtle historical luxury.

The ramp at the entrance was adapted to modern comfort and safety requirements without compromising the integrity of the historical architecture. For this, a richly colored Swedish granite was chosen.

Žybartuva supplied, prepared, and installed all granite and limestone products. Technical project specifications:

• Bohus Red (Sweden) is a vibrant, warm pink granite suitable for outdoor architecture due to its durability and frost resistance. The surface is polished matte to ensure safe use of the ramp even in wet weather. This granite visually complements and highlights the architectural facade details of the church.

• Limestone (Sweden) is a natural stone with subtle, pastel tones historically used for flooring during the times of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The polished matte surface retains historical authenticity while ensuring comfort and longevity. It is a unique choice that recreates an authentic atmosphere.
