The grave of the distinguished conductor, educator, and cultural figure Saulius Sondeckis stands out with a sculptural form created by sculptor Dalia Matulaitė and its subtle adaptation to the relief. The sculpture’s mass, bench, steps, and the use of various shades of granite create a visually compelling and serene place of remembrance.

For the sculpture, bench legs, and steps, the expressive Baltic Green granite from Finland was used—a greenish-gray stone with a dense structure. The remaining parts feature contrasting Kuru Grey granite and rich dark-colored Impala granite from South Africa. The inscriptions on the monument are sandblasted, clearly legible, and create a subtle sense of aesthetic balance.
