In Vilnius, at the center of E. Balsys Green Square in Žvėrynas, a vibrant and organic granite sculpture “Bird’s Nest” by sculptor Gintaras Mikolaitis has been installed.

The sculpture uses Rubin Red granite, known for its rich reddish-brown color, durability, resistance to environmental effects, and expressive visual character. The entire granite sculpture is bush-hammered – a surface treatment technique that gives the stone a gently rough, natural texture, harmonizing perfectly with the square’s environment and emphasizing the sculptural form.

“Žybartuva” supplied and prepared the granite products. Technical project specifications:
